Centurion Christian School (CCS) was founded in 1997 by three families who wanted to establish a Christian school for their children. In 2017 CCS celebrated 20 years in Bible-based education.
The founder members decided on an “American Bible-based curriculum”; called Accelerated Christian Education in 1996 because of its Biblical content and principles.
The curriculum offers an individualized educational system with the emphasis on reading to learn as opposed to conventional teaching. Students are able to progress at their own rate and according to their own unique ability.
In 2018 the school introduced an online curriculum for the high school enabling students to write an exit exam at the end of matric.

The school started with three children and one staff member. The initial premises was a garage, but the school moved to 178 Aletta Avenue, Raslouw, in 1998 to accommodate growth. In 2020 CCS purchased its own property in Witpensstekelstert Street, Raslouw.
CCS was registered with the Department of Education in 1998 and with ISASA in 2002. Today CCS is a co-ed school catering for students from Grade RRR to Grade 12.
It is the heart of the school to offer affordable Christian education of high quality in Centurion and at the same time to train students for life at the hand of Godly values. The emphasis is on character development and not on the number of students completing school. We pride ourselves in shaping students into Agents of Change in today’s society.
